Freqeuntly Asked Questions

What makes Dental Implants a better choice than Dentures or Bridges?

Dental implants provide a permanent solution that feels and functions like natural teeth. They don’t slip or require adhesives, and they help preserve jawbone health, unlike dentures or bridges.

Can anyone get Dental Implants, or are there specific requirements?

Most people with good oral and general health are candidates, but sufficient jawbone density is needed to support the implants. A consultation can determine your suitability.

How many Teeth can Dental Implants replace?

Implants can replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, or an entire arch. Options like All-on-4 or All-on-6 allow for a full-mouth restoration using just a few strategically placed implants.

Is the Implant placement procedure painful?

No. The procedure is performed under Local Anesthesia or Sedation, and most patients experience minimal discomfort. Any mild soreness afterward is manageable with over-the-counter pain relief.

How long does the entire Implant process take?

While Implant placement is done in a single visit, the complete process, including healing and Crown placement, typically takes a few months to allow for osseointegration (bone fusion).

What if I don’t have enough bone for Implants?

In cases of low bone density, procedures like bone grafting can help build up the jawbone, making it possible to receive implants.

How do I care for my Dental Implants?

Implants require the same care as natural teeth, including regular brushing, flossing, and dental check-ups to ensure longevity and health.

Will my new Teeth look natural?

Yes! Dental Implants are custom-made to match the size, shape, and colour of your natural teeth, ensuring a seamless and realistic appearance.

How durable are Dental Implants?

With proper care, Dental Implants can last a lifetime, making them a durable, long-term investment in your Dental health and confidence.

Are Dental Implants covered by insurance?

Coverage varies depending on your insurance provider. We offer flexible financing options to help make Implants accessible for all Patients.

Dental Implants

A Long Lasting Solution

A dental implant is a small titanium screw that is placed in the upper or lower jawbone. The implant acts as a root to support crowns, bridges, or dentures to replace one or more missing teeth. With routine check ups and home care instructions as advised by your dentist, implants should last many years.

The success rate is 95% in a healthy person. Should an implant fail to integrate, we will replace it at no extra cost.
